When my daughter started these schools was pretty good but now I'm so disappointed in how things are run. I've never seen or heard of a school that has so much bullying. Not only by students but by the teachers. The cheer group is a joke and so is the athletic department. At first I thought it was me but then I learned differently listening to other parents and their disappointment as well. I really expected a lot more from a small town but this is just ridiculous. Its so bad they couldn't even find anyone to do PTO past this year. Not only the bullies but the drugs here are ridiculous. Enough is enough. My children will never go back here.

This school has excellent campus leadership with a committment to excellence. The teachers strive to bring out the best in all students. A great modern school, with a historical heart in the community.

My son just finished 7th grade. I am very happy with his education thus far. He had several enthusiastic teachers this year, especially his Science teacher. Most of the teachers here make it very apparent they love teaching. Because Bandera is a small town most of the kids here have grown up together, therefore you do have some favoritism (mostly in the athletic department). Despite that, he enjoyed his experience in football and track. Bandera Middle has a wonderful office staff. Mr. Bitzkie and Mr. Persyn have been wonderful to work with, make you feel comfortable, and have a truely want every child to succeed.
